Our hair: fashionable, political, seductive
“Anyone who wears a hairstyle, and almost all of us do, says something with it. Just what? The well-groomed, parted short hairstyle, the blonde head of hair, the braided mini pigtails, or simply shaggy hair – they shape our appearance and thus also determine how we are (want to) be perceived. The hairstyle has a lot to do with personality, with gender roles, with art or even with political attitudes.”

Hesse creates knowledge
The degree program “Body Care/ Body Studies, Fashion and Aesthetics” course is presented at “Hesse creates knowledge”.
The first part is about fashion and aesthetics, parts two and three of the course on biology and chemistry will be published on August 15th, 2022 and September 12th, 2022. The various facets of the course become clear in the contributions.

Interview on the exhibition “GUNTER SACHS. CAMERA ART: A CONTROVERSIAL EXHIBITION AT THE STIHL WAIBLINGEN GALLERY”.
Gunter Sachs (1932 – 2011) had a passionate relationship with the visual arts. He photographed, filmed and collected the works of painters and photographers. An exhibition at Waiblingen's Galerie Stihl now shows parts of Sachs' collection as well as his photographic and cinematic works.
