Street Hair
…is a blog all about hair and combines street style and hairstyle trends. This is a blog of Fashion & Aesthetics at Technical University of Darmstadt. Students in the Body Care programme and with a hairdresser background start with the latest trends visible on the street, comment them as experts and provide tips for how to shape and design them. In special tutorials about hair, hairstyles and colour trends become accessible and comprehensible for all. In addition, our blog offers background information about the history of hair – from saints, witches and fairy-tale characters – based on aesthetics and cultural studies. A subject-related didactics section complements our blog. It is designed to inform both teachers at vocational schools and future hairdressers and to provide them with typical learning tasks to go through.
It is our goal to offer inspiration on current trends and sound contents on which to base discussions. Feedback on our articles and images, ideas for future topics of discussion and questions are highly appreciated!
